i used to be exactly the same as you mate not feel confident enough to do it but if you just go ahead and do it and watch where everythink come from you will have no problem and your confidence will grow :)

i use to think that like oh i wont spe loads on it oz want a better car to do up but when you start and get more ideas and be different you never want to stop coz theres always a new idea you come up with to carry out and it becomes addictive lol and the feeling you get from doing it is a rush and you cant help but show it off

na i havent done everythink so far, just got to get the bonnet wrapped, oil cooler, coilovers, exhaust tips and respray then that will be the outside done then do the inside lol

with those you will expect to pay a fair bit on insurance but they are good cars to do alot to yea you should beable to get what you paid for if not put it up for 700 ono ;)

yer well, if my car does eventually give in i might keep it and use as a project just to get all hands on etc and practice doing stuff to it :D i would love to do that. keep abit of knowledge from home use. thanks for advice.

but coz my car isnt in the greatest of shapes i dont wanna do stuff to it, id prefer one with power steering and a different colour like black :D

oh right cool, what colour you respraying it? im doing inside first then maybe outside but not too sure.

i know thats what i thought might be the problem lol, i might try that but with the amount of miles its done i dont think that many people will be interested, but might keep to make better and do some work to, have a proper project, and have another car to run around in :D

you can add a power steering rack and pump to yours but its not that simple if i remember correctly but can find out, i never had a problem with my old corsa with no power steering even with 50mm drop lol

gunna stay gloss black

once you start modding your dont wanna stop lol

oh right, well i think that would be too much money and not really worth it :/ oh right, i just dont feel im in control without power steering lol,

sweet, i might be getting new car, not sure though :/ i found a 1.2 16v sxi for 1,250 but has gone up to 1450 :/

haha, i think thats what my problem will be and plus ill hurry it too much and will look rubbish when ive done it lol

i finally have pictures for my project log, now gotta put them in and post it then youll be able to see what its like lol

tbh i prefer non power steering as the stiffness of it feels more stable imo, i dont feel like i can push the corsa i got as much as the one i had

bit strange going up in price usually it goes down

you learn by your mistakes and learn to take time the more you do it to notice the difference

ok mate will check it out once its up

haha, i did think of doing it all different colours, but i thought its gonna cost me alot more money to get 4 different colours of paint, rather than 2 cans of black paint, i have painted 2 of my wheels black, they dont actually look too bad tbh :D i quite like them :D they are poo lol but i dont mind them in black now and plus id rather spend money painting them, than spend loads on a good set of wheels, but might get sum in the future :/
