Fixed ignition barrel now got more probs!

Hi all, I've finally managed to get my ignition barrel finished, fitted and starting.

Only issue I've now got is once the car is started I turn the key back and through each stage the car is still running! The only way it turns off is when I pull the key out of the ignition!!

Any ideas??

Yes get a new one, the reason it dosen't turn off is because it's broken, probaly taken from a stolen car that's had a screwdriver in the ignition, so someone could come along and do same to urs lol

mines done that before, its even kept running once i've taken the key out and i didnt realise till i locked the car

spray some dry lube, electricians lube in the barrel. mine was jst a bit sticky, sorted now

get a new black ignition cap with the wires from the scrappy, contacts inside you old one are worn and could cause a engine fire because your starter could be constantly enganged when your engine is running
