decat?

thinking off a decat, just wondering if it will make much difference? i have 1.4 sport with a powerbox, 4 branch & straight thru centre pipe n back box. how loud would it be if i took out cat n had straight through to the backbox? dont wont it to be crazily loud lol, also seen like a decat pipe but has a silencer in place of cat, would this be a better option you think? thanks guys

Yes it would be pretty loud well how loud depends on how much you press that pedal lol and you can get a sports cat which is a decat but iirc it also works as a cat and will pass a MOT but makes it sound like it has no cat and as for the power gains yes you may get some but not a lot as it just free the air going out so really you need something bringing air in quick to see the gains.
