Arch trim removal

Post by essexjohn »

I'm gonna take my plastic arch trims off to paint them, do they just pull off like door card poppers or is there a special way of removing them?

they're bolted on mate, you have to get the 10mm nuts that hold them on from inside the arch.

leet them soak in wd40 for 10-15 mins 1st though

and dont yank them off, ease them gently because the bolts are held in place by plastic and the nut is plastic and 9 times out of 10 the ba******rd things will turn in the plastic arch securing bit and knacker the arch up so just take your time
