Does anyone know how to remove an ecu transponder? Any help would be appreciated

all you do is remove your drivers footwell right hand plastic cover, then remove the 8mm plastic nut that holts the clip on that holds the ecu in place, then remove the ecu and un-clip the ecu out, its as simple as that, might be a little orquad with all the wires but thats basically what you do.

I think you may have misunderstood me there mate. I mean the transponder that Goes around the ignition barrel.

oh the plastic ring bit that the chip inside the key locates with? that should just pull of and if i remember there should be a plug going to it
