really need some help

im really stuck now, have tried all sorts. have put new plugs, ht leads, fuel filter, put in petrol flush. car has been put on diagnostic as people mentioned sensors, but nothing has come up?
car does not seem to want to pass 3000rpm as there is no power, but will go on to 5000rpm in 1st and 2nd gear but seems like it is spluttering ( like when it hits redline), and is very annoying as i cant drive on duel carriages etc as it just wont go quick enough.
would really appreciate any advice, thanks

have you put a cone filter on the car mine car did the same until i blocked off the small red pipe that came from the original air box

the car has a pippercross cone on it, has done since i've had it. no red pipe there?
someone told me it was because my exhaust was blowing? could this cause such dramatic power loss?
also ive had it put on diagnostic and nothing came up? all the symptoms point to a sensor of some sort, but surely they would have come up?

im afraid theres lots of sensors ie crank shaft, icv, cold start valve something cheap to try is cleaning the throttle body with carb cleaner they do get bunged up with all sorts of crud

yee already done that mate :/.
well its getting de-catted (in case the cat is clogged) today. Getting new cam belt fitted ( sounds like its slipped a tooth)
so will post if its worked or not XD

well been de-catted (love the sound! )
timing belt fitted, then after all that coil packs in! so getting one tommorow morning then hopefully it will be spot on!
