BAD BOY OUT!!
20XE that my dad has just built at work for there widetrack nova tarmac rally car
quick spec off the top of my head that i know:
early 20XE block rebored to 86.25mm
H beam rods with ARP bolts
86.25mm race pistons with deep valve pockets
fully balanced and lightened bottom end
billet lightened flywheel and ring gear
4 paddle helix clutch with
polished and ported head with knife edged ports on inlet
+1mm oversize valves on bronze seats
double valve springs
330 degrees touring car spec cams
vernier pulleys
solid lifters
4-2-1 exhaust manifold which is matches to the cylindar head, i.e unique for the engine
BRAND NEW DCOE twin carbs (45s)
F20 6 speed gearbox built by quaiffe
alpha weber management with custom built loom
fueling will be controlled by a facet race fuel pump and swirl pot, fully braided through out the whole car
there may be more but i think ive covered most of it
estimated power is to be around the 250bhp mark running on shell optimax
so watch this baby fly

1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

quick spec on the car
J reg nova fully seam welded with pilbeam rollcage (FIA APPROVED)
steel wide arch kit
extended bottom arms with uniball bottom ball joints
fully adjustable avo coilovers all round
rear suspension moved back about 3 inches to allow bigger coilovers
vectra disks on back with hydralic handbrake
rose jointed track rod ends on a corsa EPAS steering rack with variable speed control
wilwood 4 pots on 256mm competition disks
fully braided lines inside the car
2 fire extinguishers with spray bars
flocked dash
bias pedal box
bias valve built in dash
harry hockley solid engine mounts
quaiffe direct to gearbox gearshift (no linkage)
straight throught 3 inch exhaust system with re packable silencer
every bush is polybush, even exhaust mountings
doulbe rear anti roll bars
fibergalss boot and bonnet with aero catches
fully polycarbed windows minus front windscreen
the speedlines shown in the picture are forsale, they come with cut slicks road legal
that is what the car DID look like but it is now white and will be on 17s
it has been done the same colour as there subaru rally car
will get some more pictures tommorrow
havent actually seen it myself yet since the respray so cant wait

the car is being prepared for the bosses son who is the driver and his dad is navigator .they already run an imprezza in another class which they won last season so this season will be running car one .he always wanted another nova as he used to run one on the road ,it should be an interesting season as this nova is not far off having the same bhp as the imprezza and only 2 wheel drive. as for what its worth finished i would at a guess say some where between 15 and 20k as parts are not cheap in this game ie the new wheels were close to a grand just for a set of 4
