Re: helpppp
my car was like that, couldn't get over 60mph. tried many things and diagnostics. in the end it was the cam belt that had slipped a tooth so it was running like a bag of s**t.
corsa 94 sri 1.4 8v. lowered on g-max , angel eyes, smoked side repeaters,

Re: helpppp
disconnecting the battery doesnt reset the ecu it does nothing but disconnect the battery
go and get it on a diagnostics
normally when a crank sensor goes the symptom is usually you cant start the car when the engine is warm.
to me it sounds like the mass air flow meter
does the car sort of die when you go to rev it hard?
also if you travel like over 60 does the engine management light come on?

i think it is the mass air flow meter, the egr valve was ceased shut but that is now working and the problem is still happening, yeh it revs just slowly and juddery and sounds horrible. when i driven it home i think i touched 60 and it came on, cant really remember, was atleast doin 50

Re: helpppp
Hi there. I have a 98 corsa breeze 1.0 12v. I had a Similar problem with my car when i first bought it. It was very juddery and I kept getting the orange engine management light when demanding power (particularly going up a hill or going onto the motorway) - I replaced the Mass Air Flow meter an the problem instantly went (bargain at £20 on eBay) Not sure if this is an identical situation to yours but I though I'd mention this.
