help with wiring car alarm
hi i have bought a car alarm hawk ha280 pro i have managed to wire up central locking but can anyone tell me where to locate a wire that comes on when ignition is switched on i am only seventeen and never fitted anything like this before so please bear this in mind. my dad is away at the moment but told me to leave it for him to fit when he gets back, but fancied a go at it myself any advice much welcome

theirs a wire that goes to the back of your radio, and to your fag lighter this is usually a switched live.

Yes your right there, anyways he must another live feed to keep it working then when ignition not turned on i assume lol.

all sorted and working have sorted imobiliser or auto start but done others thanks for help now for a redtop conversion!!!! lol
