1st year 1200
2nd year one years no claim 750 then told them about my alloys and rear lights its now 890
1.0 trip (Y)
best to ring them up, i went one go compare before they sent me a re-newal quote and it was 1200 + for the same people, go compare first then ring the top 3 cheapest see what they have to offer.

Re: Insurance Rip Off, Not Happy
Insurance for young people is a joke - The biggest stereotype known! We pick up the costs for all of the scum bags out there who won't work, therefore don't pay Insurance and drive around like morons, upping the cost of driving for us by the minute.
I am 20, in my first year of driving and I drive a 1.0 12v 98 corsa. I'm a sensible driver and respect the privilege of having a liscence. I work full time, and have a little boy of 2. My insurance was over £2,500 - which was bad enough. I moved address and changed this with my provider, so they calculated a new premium to complement the address change, in the tune of £1,000 MORE!! I have 4 payments left of my insurance for the year, so this ludacris increase in my premium has resulted in 4 x £492 payments!!! Premiums for young drivers have reached an utterly ridiculous and unfair point, and it needs to be rethought on a better way to punish the IDIOTS out there, and not the honest, hard working ones.
Apologies for the long whining post guys, it's just really touched a nerve!
