Corsa B 1.2 8v - 1.6 8v

Hi People =]

ive been weighing up the situation of putting a 2.0 8v in my corsa, but i dont really have the time or money so ive decided to go for the 1.6 8v as it uses the same drive shafts be and hubs and gearbox and mounts etc.. plus i have 1.6 16v brakes so its just easy really.

all i want to know is what engine i can use because ive been looking on ebay at 1.6 8v engines and i was thinking about getting one out of a mk4 astra (Z16se)? just because they are relatively new engines and i could get one with low milage... but all the conversions i have seen have either been a nova engine or out on an astra mk3..

thats whati was looking in to, i was also thinking of the astra to, i think you would be able to use that as its verchly the same engine,
i was goin to buy a whole car, because you can buy a engine on ebay for a few hunderd but, if you buy a write off from car transplants or sumwhere like that, you get everything including the brakes, theres some on there for 300 and you also know the mileage of the engine and can get some of you money back buy selling the best bits of the car a wieghing the rest in that was my idea any way

i have a c16se in mine so if you need any advice ask, there pretty straightforward swap i would stay away from the z16se there only 85 ponies i would go multipoint
with either e16se or c16se both a 100 ponies and ive got loooooooads of stuff for them, 4 branches, blanked fuel rail for fse, heads allsorts
