looks like you need your ecu resetting as it will probably have old fault codes on it any good garage will do it for you afterwards you need to let your engine idle for a few minutes for the ecu to set to your new setup after all should be good.

Hey,

I had the problem where I lost power after high revs and also got the EML light. Replaced the Mass Air flow meter and all was solved :-) Don't know if this is the same issue but maybe worth a try, common fault!

Regards,
Mark.

do the paper clip test, it shud come up with a fault code and tell you the problem.

theres a guide in the FAQ
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

your lambda sensor could have gone also that's if the new manifold takes it. giving the ecu bad readings. but it will only make your engine run richer which causes pops and bangs.. also having no cat causes pops and bangs. best bet is eats been said.. reset your ecu... disconnect battery for over an hour or overnight.. then start your car and let it idle for 10 minutes before touching anything.
