Morettes & Pikey LED Indicators. Done.

Well, the Lights will come off again to have the Inner lamps replaced with Scoops eventually, once I find some that will fit!

Got started by removing the bumper to gain better access to everything;

Image

Then, swapped a headlight for the new one, and mounted the load resistor for the LEDs to the steel below;

Image

Did the wiring for it - load resistor is in parallel to the load - also used detachable crimps to allow easy disconnection of the LEDs;

Image

Mounted the LEDs through drilled holes in the Bumper itself - a nice, tight push fit and glued for a bit of extra security - then just quickly connected up for a test;

Image

Then did all the above for the other side;

Image

Then, refitted the bumper after tidying the wiring;

And a slightly different look to the front end;

Not too sure on the Indicators, but meh, they work and are done now.

I'm thinking that maybe I should have done them on the Black section so they didn't stand out so much, but never mind... haha

Will do

I'm not doing the work myself, so may not get much in the way of photos during it all, but if I do, I'll get them up :)

Should be done within the next couple of weeks with any luck!

It is a 1.8 as mentioned by Jordy above

It's the X18XE1 unit, a Smallblock one so an easier fit.

I believe you r right about indicators been in the black part of your bumper, would blended in better, not as noticeable there and also when in use would stand out more against the black background as well. Like your new morettes very nice 8)
