trouble removing stereo

Post by ronald reagan »

hi all,
im trying to remove my cdr 2005 vdo stereo from my corsa and im having some difficulty to say the least.
grub screws are off and have the halfords vauhall radio key pc5 -110-h.
have pushed the keys all the way in until they click and when i try to remove it the radio the keys just comeout.
i have tried and a few workmates have even tried it but no joy.
my question is if i go in through the glove box will i be able to release the stereo that way.

any input / feedback is greatly appreciated.

On mine it was easier to remove the drawer / ashtray bit under the radio and reach up through the gap there?

yes the earlier model corsa and astra's had lost of room behind the dash! or go through the ashtrya from the bottom! but less space for ur hand :P
