Road Tax...

Post by PaulW »

Robbin gits the government :x

£93.50 of my hard-earned cash has just been sent to them for the privilige of driving on, what I can say, are the WORST roads in Europe!

But exactly how much of this money will go into the roads? probably about 2-3% of it

I wouldnt mind PAYING this much if we had roads to show for it, but its just getting beyond a joke now! I\'ve had to get my tracking sorted 4 times in the past 2 months cos the roads are that crap! Also buckled 1 of my wheels about 2 months into GSi ownership which I still need to get replaced (luckily I had a spare wheel ;) )

but its just not the point... I know ranting on about it is pointless, as nothing CAN or WILL be done about it, but I\'m just fed up with the way this country is going, or ISN\'T going as people might say...

£93.50? how long is that for, mines £110 for 12 months. i agree with you about us having the worst roads in europe round here they seem to have come up with a plan to fix the pot holes for longer. it envolves shoveling tarmac into the hole to form a bump that way it doesnt ware down as quickly. round the corner from my house you cant go down the street at more than 15mph for fear of putting your head thru the roof when you go over bumps
