t reg corsa b sxi c20xe conversion imobiliser help please ?

hi ive got a corsa b sxi me and my mate are fitting the c20xe to it was jst wondering about the immobiliser will it fire straight up or will the new ecu have to match . its the earler type c20xe thanks

they dont have immobilisers so it should start straight up

cheers mate, are ya sure they havnt coz myns got a chip in the key and a transponder near the ignition barrel

is yours a 2.0 16v? i was always under the illusion that they didn't have one, try taking your chip out and leave it away from your car, you might find that it was from the original engine or something. unless im totally wrong and some did have an immobiliser :/
