Couple Questions

Well....

1. see the centre console where theres meant to be lights. mines doesnt light up not sure if they come standard like that or if i have to buy bulbs, but can anyone help me if its just a case of changing the bulbs or something?

2. whats the best brakes to go for as the 1.2 8v brakes are useless. was thinking 2.0 cavalier/calibra but not sure if i have to change anything, obviously disc pads calipers and carriers have to be changed but anything else?

i think the lights are suppost to come as standard yes but lots of people have opened it up and found the holders are empty, or the bulbs have blown. you can stillget them from vauxhall for a few pence.

im not the guy to talk to about brakes lol

yea should be just a case of changing the bulbs mate.

and yea you can go straight to 2.0 16v brakes, and nope you dont have to change anything apart from caliper, carrier, pads, and discs, and they'l bolt straight up, only thing is you cant fit anything under a 15" wheel on anymore, so corsa steels wont fit.

cheers guys how many bulbs is there? so far i can count 4. and ive got 15" now so its all good. ill phone vauxhall tomorrow and try get the bolts.

new bolts? what for? to hold the calipers on? ahh dont bother just use your original ones, they'l be fine with some copper slip on.

When i got my car had same problem , no lighting on centre console had to remove and replace bulbs, easy to do, just getting console out can be annoying though, just don't mix up the different heater rods that adjust where the air flow comes out of, attach them to where you took them off. Not expensive to replace either.

sorry meant bulbs lol. what sort of bulbs are they? i can get 4 calipers and 3 carriers for 15 dunno of it's a bargain or no. think it was 256mm discs on the car was on cav wi redtop in it lol
