that depends who your asking, the redtops are getting very old now, most have them have been rebuilt a dozen times.

when i do my conversion i'll be going for the x20xev
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

fitting a z20leh (vxr engine) isnt a problem, its the wiring thats the difficult thing as its all CanBus wiring, you will need to go aftermarket management to run it, and its fly by wire throttle so you will need to run a x20xev throttle body..

good luck with that one mate , a guy on mig has just done the same conversion on a corsa c and ploughed 10k into it and sold it on as an unfinished project the wiring is a nightmare so is the driveshafts as the vxr runs 27 spline shafts nothing else does so that means driveshafts having to be made from scratch . you are going to need to have seriously deep pockets to do that conversion , and all for the same power output as a half decant let

completly agree better off going c20let as its cheaper than a z20leh. and you can get parts alot cheaper and easier.
