Hope you like the car atm, tomorrow morning/afternoon it won't be looking as pritty, but hopefully by the end of tomorrow it will be looking alot better than it is :D

I am re-doing the drivers door as you can still see where the rust used to be, 'IF YOU WERE UP-CLOSE'. Top of the Drivers side Rear Window where there is a massive dent which came with the car when I baught it and don't know how it got there. A little dent between the drivers window and the rear window. Signs that someone has tried to break into it at some point in its life.

Lastly the bonnet, especially the front as its pure rust and is starting to bubble onto the top part of the bonnet where its quite visible. Also I want to get rid of all of the little stone chips soo might as well do the whole bonnet. Let you know how all things turn out. :)

Im taking the 60mm kit off mine when it comes back from the bodyshop, coilovers going on, but I know for a fact with 195 tyres yours won't go that far.

This is 60mm drop with 165/50/15 tyres

I have 20mm hubcentric spacers with the new rims I have for this season and going lower still soon on coilovers.

If you have rubbing then you should consider, thinner tyre size or arch roller

Yes at least once a week lol :jezza:

The rust was all at the front, mainly all above the grill area, but i did think about a bonnet bra but someone told me that after a while with them on, say 6 months and you come to sell it, the area you had the bra, is more brighter and not faded from the other half of the bonnet, sooo its debatable really, still wouldnt mind getting one though lol 8)

Anywho body work. I have spent alot of hours today getting ride of the rust spots on the car and trying to get rid of them, only managed to do the bonnet, the drivers door but only primered the between the lil window and the drivers window and above the lil window where there were a big dent.

just uploading a few pics to photobucket and will soon post them :D

Here we go, firstly was to grind all of the areas which had rust problems and then apply this KRUST as it were called which kills the rust :D

All has been done and 2 of the areas required filling as you can see but the last picture was the really big dent and required much more filler to be flush with the body work.

Next I started on the bonnet

Image

Undernieth the bonnet, it had been grinded down and primered

Image

Here is the end result of undernieth the bonnet, now for the top, firstly primered

Now Painting started

End Result

Next it was onto the drivers door

Then the BIG Dent

Then this was the last picture I squeazed as it began to rain soo it will have to be finished this weekend now :meh:

Image

Also in this pic you can see my new smoked side repeaters which came today. Same with my new back light

Image

I don't want fancie Lexus Lights, dort like em, and as i sed earlier in a different post, the others are ruined by a crack and paint :meh:

Also when I get the chance, I have baught something for my SXI's which I have seen NOBODY DO ON THIS SITE, and me personally it gives it a nice touch but picture will come soon 8)
