Corsa Envoy 1.0 LOG

My first little 1.0 corsa!!

Wish some ministry of sounds 6x9 that came with it not wired in but!!

After couple weeks having the car, i already had some ideas for it! And the one thing that annoyed me the most was the scuffs on the "momo" alloys from the previous owners..

I then after a little searching on ebay found wheel trim stickers that surprisingly stick on well.. not bad for £4!!

Image

Then i decided to spray the front & back bumpers as the crappy discolored grey was anoying me! and got a bit of paint on the grill so just done that aswell looks crap but done till i got my de-badged one..

I then decided to get some red LED sidelights from ebay once again

Image

Then my mate gave me a led strip and switch , and wanted to see if i cud wire it in ok and was easy so fitted that..

Image

Image

I also debadged the back

Image

this is alot of effort to get the old adhesive the tricks they give u on internet like useing WD40,mayo, babyoil, all didnt work for me so just went hallfords and got some goo gone alternative cant remember the name now but then worked a treat!!

Also if theres anybody selling a backbox in the northamptonshire area please let me no!!

Also any comments and ideas would be appreciated!!

I have recently got a red interior light, and 2 new 6x9s and sub and amp pics coming sooon!!!

Finally got round to spraying the door speaker covers black, was thinking about doing them red but wasnt sure so black it was, nice safe color lol :)

Image

I also fitted my red interior light, wasnt the brightest thing in the world but just got it for effect ...might just replace with clear bulb not to sure yet will see...

Image

Is abit brighter at night but not to good, wen u drop money on floor at night and cant find it!

I then decided to replace my 6x9s with some new 1200w max ones from ebay, i no they dont put out at that but for £21 who can complain ay..

Image

Image
Underside wired in..

Also screwed my AMP on to the back of my seat cus cudnt really go anywere eles, and its out the way there.. its a sony xplod 1200w had some scratches on it wen i got it so just sprayed it black..

Image

And here it is all in place... :)

Image

I did try and wire in my 6x9's into the amp but for some reason all i cud get from them was pure bass! was soooo anoying and i fiddled around with all the settings and still didnt work properly so, i just ran them straight to my head unit, and then ran my sub off my amp and thats it, now works a treat and certainly packs a punch now!

Anyway any comments, advise, tips or ideas welcome good or bad...
:)THANKS!!! :)

The attention you will get you won't like, if a copper see's those side lights he'll chew you up and spit you out mate!

Knight Rider strip needs centralising, get the Momo Arrows re-conditioned mate!!!

Get it lowered...quickly!!!

Nice for a frist motor! Another B saved!!!

There's a site for bonnet bras, I'm not keen on them but Im getting a white one just to put on for the trip to all the shows. Dude trust me do not replace your Momo Arrows because they are a really rare rim now! My mate Col at works just paid £200 for a set for his XR3 cabby!!!

Where are you based???

Wheel Repair Centre nearish to me did my original Mini rims for £195 and they did an A1 job!

If it was my B:

Colour code your bumpers, scuttle, wind mirrors and arches
Set of euro style rear lights, depo or smoked angels for the front
Get rid of the rear wiper
Get some 165/50/15 tyres on those rims for a bit of stretch
Lower 40mm all-round (or 60mm if your like me when it comes to stance!)

I like my music so have a look at what I managed to achieve in my B! You don't have to pay someone to do it either! This is my first attempt at an install and I would change it!!!
Image
You don't have to go mental but use your boot space well when it come to your install no matter how big or small it is, look to upgrade your speaker and the amplifier may work!
