Hey guys,
When I come off an A Road or motorway when i've been at high revs for about 10 mins, I start to slow down on the junction slip-road and my engine check light comes on. I'll hit the clutch just before i hit the lights to change down and the revs drop to 0 and the car stalls. I have to start her up again and drive on. Could see this potentially being quite dangerous Any ideas what the problem could be? Could be something to do with idle control?
Thanks,
Stalling after A road runs.

what engine is it?
i had a very similar problem on my x14xe
occasionaly i would have to leave it 5mins before i start it up again because it just wouldnt have it
when i plugged it in it came up with an egr valve code, i cleared it and its been fine ever since

It's a 1.4sri. Lovely little engine when it works. I dont have to leave it 5 mins, i can just start up again. I'll run the paperclip test and the normal codes will come up with no problems either :/
