will cdr500 work with MFD?

I'm thinking of getting rid of my aftermarket cd player and putting a vauxhall stereo back in so it works with the mfd, i was wondering if the cdr500 cd player would work as I'm not sure what stereo corsa's come with as standard.

pritty sure any vauxhall one will fit. you can get it to work with an after market cd player by cutting one of the wires (pin 8 i think, DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT) but i've herd tell of it reducing your radio signal/recption.

some late corsa's had a cd player fitted as standard, make sure what ever you get you get the code.

Cheers mate, I've heard stories of no radio reception when the wire is cut aswell. Think cdr500 will work, I looked for corsa audio manual on Ebay and it's one of the listed stereos. Will get one with a code and see how I get on

the haynes only says about a tape player in the text but the picture is a cd player but very old looking thing, and it's a facelift corsa haynes manual!
