They're standard 6j rims and I can't find tyres to give me the stretch I want, my mate Mike who owns WheelQuick has done his best to get me a weird set from Europe and Japan but he said it just wasn't possible to get the size I'd need so...

I don't want to have the band spoiling the face of the rim plus, you wouldn't be able to put the band on the outside due to the design on the face. The centre overlaps the rim so you wouldn't be able to band it so you had a dish.

I had to put 20mm hub-centric spacers on as the standard rim offset sat way too far under the arches for me!!! Now that they are literally running next to the arches I have plenty of room to get 2" banded to each rim! YAY! I won't have to fork out for new bridgestones either as I can just mount my 165/50/15's to my 8j rims. The stretch will allow me to get the best out of my new coilovers!

Picked car up Tuesday...straight back in Wednesday...I was this close to tears, sad times. Why does nothing ever go straight forward when it comes to your own car???

The paint mate was perfic, glass finish, highly polished and gleeeeeaming! They just seriously let themselves down on the finish! Rear was just badly finished...I can't understand why though because I said there was no rush and it had to be perfic!!! My Laura was more upset than me, I'm not sure who has actually missed the Corsa more out of the 2 of us!

Everyone's fingers need to be crossed as I am picking it up after work tomorrow...AGAIN!
