Is the viable for MOT
Rusty rear coils. I took my cesaros off and noticed my rear lowered jamex springs has the paint coming off and rust starting to appear. will it fail MOT or advisory for corrosion.

not if there just a bit rusty no. if the stong, safe and capable of doing the job you'll be ok.

Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

As far as i know you will not get a failure for surface rust on a spring. If it was actually broken that would be a different matter!
Not many of the cars on the road will have nicely painted springs and most will have a slight coating of surface rust. It might be an idea if you want to make them last a little longer, and keep them looking good, to take them off, give them a good wire brushing and a coat of paint.

coll thanks guys. Its just the paints peeling off and rust around that part no where else. I thought due to our snow situation might have ruined my chances of passing MOT.

nahh you'l be fine mate, if the springs had snapped or something then yes you would have failed an MOT.
