My TID isn't working. There is nothing on the display, the bulbs are ok.
The car doesn't have the original radio and behind the radio are alot wires not connected.
Can this be the problem? If yes, which wires should i connect?

Re: TID not working
having a aftermarket head unit will not make your tid blank it will how ever get rid of the date (i think) but have you checked the tid actually works and tried fuses etc, if everything is ok i will get u a list of wire to disconnect to sort it as i cant remember them off top of my head.
If in doubt, flat out

But there are alot of wires not connected behind the radio. Checked the fuse (17) and that's ok.
Where does the wires of the TID go to?

Re: TID not working
It's difficult to make a clear picture of it. I have a pioneer radio. All the cables are coming from the left side.
Is there an easy way to test the tid before i try something else? Already know how to remove it from the car. Can i just connect a 12v supply to it and see if it lightens up?

Re: TID not working
get a little tool (forgot its name ill try explain it best i can) its a screw driver type tool but with a very sharp point instead of a flat head etc and on other end it has a wire coming out of the handle which has a crocodile clip on end, you get this and clip it to bare metal (for a earth) then prod things with it to see if that certain thing is gettin power to it if it is a light will light up inside tool, also check all fuses and try connect wires to right places.
If in doubt, flat out
