A bit of rust and a new bonnet?

Post by DoDaniel »

I have owned my Corsa for about 7 months now and i have noticed that some rust has started to build up. It's on the bottom edge of the driver side door and the front of the bonnet. I really want to get rid of this rust as it makes the car look a little tatty.

I know that you can sand it down, fill it or something and then paint it over. Also i wanted to get a new bonnet for the car, there is a dent in it from an 'accident' i had and was wondering if there was anywhere i could get one brand new that could be sprayed the same colour.

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply, I have had a look on Euro car parts but did not know if it was the right bonnet for my car as they only provided a default picture for it not one of the actual bonnet. However Euro car parts are genuinely very good a may let me have a look at the actual bonnet before I buy it. And I didn't think of looking at a scrap yard for it, was actually trying to avoid going there actually but if they have a bonnet the same without any rust then score. :P
