My first car/Corsa B

Post by damon9 »

hi, i recently bought myself a completely standard corsa B 1.2 16v SXI with 70,000 miles... i bought the car for £200 which i thought was a complete bargain.
well anyway, i have went a little mad in customising it as i have bought and fitted 2 different bodykits and 3 different sets of alloys, and ended up with the front with a bodykit and the rear with the standard bumbers on which look far better.

I don't have many pictures of the process but i'll just upload what ever pictures i have when i find out how to upload them lol.

These are of the car the way it looks now

sorry if the pictures dont work im not sure how to upload them. will add all the rest in the morning.

please give me some tips as what to do to it, as you can probably tell i dont know what way i want it too look lol.

Im not too keen on the alloys that are on my car can anyone give me any suggestions please, also i have the standard sxi alloys that came with the car, i might spray them black, and i have 16" kahn 5 spoke alloys which are in the process of being sprayed white.

I can't seem to post in the sales section so i will mention here.

I have Standard SXI front bumber in flame red (good Condition)
Standard SXI alloys with all for centre caps (could do with a bit of tlc) all good tires.
boot handle thing (good condition)
nearly new standard exhaust. (not long on the car before i got it, receipt to prove.)
ferrari 360 style sideskirts. (flame red)
CD/DVD player with 4" screen (wharfdale) doesn't read disks for some reason, but is only a few months old.

Im not sure on any of the prices, so just make me an offer if you want any of it.

tbh mate get rid of the bumper and put normal one on with a irmy splitter or something smoothed in to bumper, gsi skirts or something along those lines, vauxhall alloys, slammed. bodykits where cool over 5 years ago but now most people will tell you it looks gash. and get a 2/3 inch powerflow exhaust or sportex.

its a bit late to take it off now lol, i have already isoponed and tiger sealed onto it, i actually miss the old bumper being on it...
If i was to get it resprayed, which i hope to be doing soon, i will take it off and put the standard one back on.
I wanted to drop it but if you look in my pictures, the one where i have people in the back to see what it looks like, the tyres are rubbing on the arches, so i would need smaller wheels too, but don't know what ones to go for. does anyone know if the sxi wheels look good sprayed black?

for corsa b's it et45-49

any 4 stud vauxhall wheels will fit perfectly as they all have the same offset, but big brands like momo, bbs etc. tend to be more difficult to find in the vauxhall offset.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts

Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
