In last few days my car has been given me a slight bit of trouble. I have been tinkering around with the ICV and im not sure if that could of caused a problem for it too start. She turns over perfectly, however it just wont fire and all I do if after pumping the peddle and turning the key over she still wont go. When I bump start it though within a metre of pushing the vehicle she goes, how strange is that lol. Could anyone suggest what could be the problem ?
Its a vauxhall corsa 1.0i 12v envoy
Thankyou
Car wont start unless I bump it

id get it on a diagnotic machine to double check but sounds like it could be your crank sensor

if it does it especially when the engine is warm then i would also suggest the crank sensor.
i had the same problem on mine.
its underneath the engine at the back on passenger side next to the starter motor.
only one screw, unplug and replace - only cost bout 20-30 quid

Cheers lads it was the crank sensor luckly I had a good mechanic who chucked it on a diagnostic reader and my 2 main faults were crank and EGR. The crank sensor is replaced, starts first time now and the EGR has been blanked off lol
