my (hulk) of a beast :P

Post by skylinedave »

bought for 560 quid in good condition, well it was until i looked under the spare wheel and find the well as rusted like hell. doesnt matter i can weld it up. drove it around for 3 months before pulling out into a main road and getting thumped by a seat alambra,
Image
Image

you cant see much in the pictures but basicvaaly the passenger side leg was bent away in the impact, needed new bonnet, new lights, new radiator and few lil tidbits, it was good timing anyway because mot was due and thought il jus take it off the road anyway and do it up. so i repaired the damage, replaced all the parts, and got my 2nd hand spoiler/sideskirts set for a quid :P fitted them on to demo them see what it looked like

decided to smooth my tailgate with a lil trick corsa badge :P

at first during the first three months of drving i had a big bore exhaust installed, during the repairing and modding of my corsa i decided to change it, as i thought id have the exhaust coming through the middle of the bumper rather than where it usually should be, i reckoned a dual pipe would look better in the middle than a big bore,
so i found one and installed it to demo try it, i think it looks better :P

Image had to take the wheel well out, so i can do the middle exhaust install, it was rusted anyway so didnt matter, at the moment its not welded back on yet, i have a cherry bomb and straight through pipe to weld in :p

the car is lowered at 60mm too,
i have a twin 12m sub t ofit in boot ,

soon to come,

tints
neons
mirrors, indicators
air filter

at the moment it needs some welding on the wheel arches, and the wheel well boot as well as the exhaust, then its filler, primer and paint!

UPDATE. sorry for long wait lol. i have been very busy at work, but i managed to get some time on it on the weekend, managed to get my bonnet prepped and primed at last, next weekend will be more intersting tho, because hopefully we are spraying the whole engine bay area, in either the same green as the car or the black. we'll see :P

in reply to above, i repaired the crash damage, the leg moved over piece of piss, it will not be an expensve job to repair, and the bits i had to replace were the front panel and bumper , raidiator and a light, and they were all chepa as chips.
