no no base price for buying an engine ... ( much would a decent one set me back) putting it in shouldnt cost to much ( got some1 helping )

hi mate im a new on here just put a x14xe rebuilt engine in to my 1.0 . personly i would buy a whole car with the engine in then you havent got to hunt every where for bits you can just use it as a donor car you refurbing it or just dropping it straight in??? probably pick one up for about 150 quid might need a bit of tlc tho hope im not butting in on no ones post

take the bits off the 1.0 you want, sell the car as a whole and buy a 1.4 then put the bits back on that one, saves so much hassle

i'l have to agree with kris. its so much easier to just get another car the same colour but with a larger engine, theirs literally loads around.

i could of got a 1.4 16v ecotec for nothing but didnt have anyway of picking it up and agree with everyone else just get another car would be so much easier and you might get one with e/w e/m and all that jazz lol
