Crunchy Gears!

Post by Simmo500 »

Hey people,

Slight problem I hope you can help with... Driving to work today it seemed very difficult to get my gears! Especially 1st 2nd and 3rd. I almost had to shove the stick until it popped into gears at times... This is with my clutch fully depressed! Got to work.. And went to go into reverse to park up, and as I put It into reverse I got a huge CRUNCH and grinding noise before it went into gear... Any ideas? I recently adjusted my clutch cable to lower my pedal a little but it seemed fine until now...have I adjusted too much?

Thanks!!

basically keep it well oiled , and if u have a look at the back of ur clutch pedal u will see where te cable attaches to the cam, check to see if it looks nackerd

Well, I've readjusted slightly... And took her for a spin, and seems all good! Fingers crossed! Of I oil it will it loseb the pedal do you think? The pedal is quite stiff to press! It's not a problem, just an annoyance! Lol
