steering rack

hi my car steering rack is knocking on its in for wednesday to get a new one just want to know will i be ok driving it till then its been knocking on for a few weeks before i found out it was the rack thanks.

i know its the rack had it to the garage the other day they booked it in for wednesday but i wont be driving it till then anyways my back axle collapsed on me at 60mph da bk alloy went flying of in front of me with the back drum and bearing attached to it still it was bad car started fishtailing all over the place managed to control it luckerly and there where cars on the opposite side of the road coming towards me at the time so could have been bad if i hadnt got control of it i would have hit another car flipped it and ended up through a fence into a feild which would not have been good at all.

ah hell, sounds like your wheel bearing nut didnt have a retaining split pin in it,

found out the verdict today needs a new stub axle i was quite shocked after it happened it scared me like .
