Hi,
Just got back from an enjoyable weekends driving around Wales. Before I went I'd noticed that third seemed to have absolutely no grunt whatsoever, but couldn't really try it out, but the country roads over the weekend allowed me to!
Basically, if I put the car into 2nd and floor it, it accelerates fairly well right through the rev range (changed up at about 5500), but then when the car goes into 3rd and the foot goes back on the floor, there is far far less acceleration when my foot goes back down (to the extent that changing how far I press the accelerator just seems to make the engine louder, without actually accelerating!).
Could this be any sort of problem with the gear box or set up? Bit confused as to why there is such a difference... :/
Uneven acceleration in different gears?

Re: Uneven acceleration in different gears?
tbh it cud just need a service or it could be something like the mas air flow meter, as the engine management light come on at all?
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

It is in need of a service, so that may be the problem! Haha. EML hasn't come on at all, nope...
