1.4 16v running problems

i have a p reg 1400 dohc corsa sport the problem i have is the car is hard to start hot and cold when the car starts its does not idle correctly all the time and when you rev it, it is slow to rev up and when you try driving it when you pull away and put your fot down nothing happens for ages and the car just creeps along and slowly picks up speed

iv changed the fuel filter and plugs but its still the same people keep telling me to do differnt things but nothing works

can any one help

My guess is Idle control.

its definitely going to be a sensor of some kind, but which one im not sure,

ok will check out the sensors but i have no way of checking for fault codes

sounds like temp controle switch there is 2 different ones so check before you buy
