hi all its me and im still about and still very much into the corsa ,as for defecting to the nova forums that aint going to happen ever . the nova is in storage for a while and is only going to get started when the corsa is how i want it . while its stood it might have to loose a few of its trick parts for the corsa ,we will see .the main reason for not being around is we are in the middle of moving house and things are really taking forever to sort out ,hopefully by the end of the week things will be back on track.please bear with me fellas as i will soon be back full time with more updates and to offer any advice i can cheers all liam

well i been busy working on the car again today. decided to move the battery into the boot and tidy up and hide as many wires as i can

my dad got me a battery cable from a new mini cooper that his mate had just broken up so was perfect for the job

started by cutting the carpet to the shape of the battery tray and then mark up where i wanted the holes etc

Image

excuse the carpet it needs a good clean

Image

repainted the battery tray

Image

and here is a picture of it bolted up with the battery fitted, i earthed the battery to the body near the rear light

Image

just need to get a battery bag for it to tidy it up

while i was doing that my dad did this :)

Image

and to get the BIG!! red cable to where we wanted it i had to take the inlet maifold off

had to change a lot of wires aswell, removed the earth from body to engine that originally went from the negative on the battery to the gearbox and replaced with a small earth from the body to the gearbox on the chassis

pulled out the headlight loom earth and shortened it then bolted it up on the chassis leg near the other one

cut out the live from the battery to the starter motor and replaced with the BIG!! red wire

other live off the positive terminal also to the starter

permanent live for engine loom was modified, i pulled it through the loom a bit into where the injector wires are, drilled a small hole and poked it through so i can route it down towards the alternator

also going to modify some more wires and hide as many as i can

Image

here is where the BIG!! red live is coming through

Image

and this is how it stands at the minute, going to do some more tomorrow

Image

cheers

:)

I thought about putting the battery in the back, well add a battery at the back and wire it up to the front battery and have more battery power for my sound system and that, but didn't know where to begin like lol
