Light bulbs

Post by uvs166 »

I had my nearside brake light out. Checked it out, found it to be the lamp blown. Easy temp fix, took the one out of the reverse light and off to get a replacement.
My local motor spares place £2.69 for pack with 2 in. Halfrauds £2.98 for 2, local motor factors/garage suppliers £3.29. All these seemed expensive for what is a common lamp. Its not that I am tight or anything but I had looked on the internet before going and found a few places selling them for around £2.25 - £2.50 for a box of ten. I dont normally mind paying a little over the top if I can get something straight away, but as it is now only a reversing light thats out and theres no rush, that does seem well excessive!!
I now have plenty of spares for next time one blows. At £2.25 with free delivery.
