checked it out today and the retaining screw was well loose both sides tightened that up and wetn for a spin all seemed well for bout half a hour then it started again so the retaining screw that holds disc in place keeps coming loose:( think some thread lock glue will sort it? or do you reckon my discs are warped:( any help would be greatly appreciated guys cheers:)

no dont glue it in, theirs no need for them really, i think what your problem is your discs are warped, this does happen as my corsa 1.4 16v discs were warped so i changed them to my 2.0 16v brake setup i had in the shed and i dont get any vibration now under excessive braking :) happy days :)

thanks dude just had a quick look there and when i rotate the disc it rubs against the pad in certain bits soo it looks like it is warped discs:( i heard when you change the discs you have to change the pads too is this true as my pads were just done 3 month back??

urrrmm you could just remove the caliper slider pins, you can find them behind the little plastic stick out covers, or if its those that are rounded off then you can remove the LARGE caliper mounting allen bolts. either way will allow you enough movement to remove both pads and discs.

Cheers guys! Its the 2 allen key bolts holding the entire calliper to the hub that are rounded off the two that are behind the dust caps are good! I would have took em off and moved caliper and inner pad out way, but it looks like the outer pad is held in place with the bit of caliper that doesnt move unless i move the caliper to hub bolts which i cant lol. Anyway if im wrong please put me right! Just doesnt seem like il get nuff space to take disc off unless i move whole caliper.

theirs two, the caliper, and caliper carrier, the two behind the bit of plastic cap are the bolts that hold the 'caliper' on, the two LARGE one below it are the two that hold the 'calliper carrier' on to the hub. removing either two of the four bolts will allow the caliper to be removed therefore replacement of BOTH the pads and both the discs.
