Had a breakdown - well, if you count 2 exhaust rubbers breaking on the same day! Bodge ties FTW!

Something to sort out once I get back from my upcoming away trip...

As I picked it up;

Has been shunted - through a fence and post - hence the damage and paintwork on it. Bought cheap from Karl (Lem0nmonkey)

Should be a fairly simple fix - the worst bit will be recoating the whole thing to be rid of scratches and light cracking in the lacquer/gelcoat

Will be taking it to a local GRP/CF Company so they can have a crack at it!

Did give it a little clean up today though...

Little trip I'm going on should easily pay for the repairs and more Carbon stuff too...

nahh that'd look weird carbon wrapping a real raw carbon fibre bonnet lol if you didnt mend the cracks it'd only become worse anyway.

I'll be getting it repaired properly with real Carbon

Honestly, for the price I paid for it, I could spend £2-300 having it repaired professionally and STILL save a couple of hundred on the price of a new one.

I do want it for weight saving mainly, but also want it to have some structural strength back - bear in mind the damage photographed is the aftermath of hitting and knocking down a building site fence and snapping a 4" Wooden Post clean in half. Wouldn't want to knock it hard again if it wasn't repaired properly. lol

Oh, and vinyl Carbon Wrap stuff looks nowhere near as good as the real stuff - would never bother with it personally - not after ScEnE points myself. lol

More goodies...

Track Wheels - to be stripped and recoated. Likely in Orange to go back to my old Cesaro ways... They are Speedlines, 16", but not sure what model exactly.

And also should have a set of proper Morette Indicators waiting for me to return home, so will be able to get rid of the LEDs. Maybe.
