EGR Valve

Heard a few guys going on about blanking off there EGR valve. wat difference does it make blanking it off?
Corsa B 1999 1.2 16v,
Debadged, Lowered 40 mm front and back 60mm,angel eyes with standard rears, Smoked Side Repeaters, Drilled airbox (Shredded). 4" Sportex Backbox with sportex straight through centre pipe. Graphite grey cesaros.

aparently its suposed to ease the engine revs and make them 'cleaner' for 'us tuners' instead of taking in un burnt gasses again. but i duno if its worth the effort lol

i only did mine to stop the light coming on, it seems to run better, but i only used to have a prob wen the light come on, now it doesnt and runs just normal realy

So no point in the hassle then

I blanked mine of a while back its a easy thing to do its about a 15min job having the correct tool and then topping up your rad. Ever since I have had that done its worked fine and sounds a bit better
