been doing some more work on her this week, moved the car to somewhere which has spraying stuff so i can prep and spray the gsi kit

got the car in the workshop, up on stands and got the bumper and arches off

trial fitting the front bumper

checking panel gaps

and the verdict.......it doesnt fit very well :( so we have taken the corners off that were replaced by a previous owner to shorten them as the bumper is too long on the sides, there is nearly 3/4 inch sticking proud from the wing on the drivers side so doesnt look good, so going to do it properly, will have to get some pictures of the progress on that

also need a grill as i cant find mine anywhere :(

where did you end up getting 1 from mate?
also mine is slightly to wide as well,
trade plates? no tax or summit?

yeah no tax untill just before pvs as the car only really get used in the summer really cant do with it getting wet and dirty and covered in salt

nice! :thumbs: yeh im having the same problem if i cant source a grill by pvs ill have to go to vaux :o :( i found with my bumper the passenger side hangs abit low :boggle: but apart from that fits fine :) gonna look wicked done though mate!
pvs 2011 cant wait!

got some more work done, my dad has been busy on the corners of the front bumper and its looking a lot better now

also found my gsi grill :D

removed the rear bumper and arches and its mint underneath, first time ive ever seen under there :lol:

yh i reckon it may of been stolen and torched, there was about 6 cars like that in a row :?

just thought, the gsi grill has been painted in the past and needs redoing, do i do it in gloss black or satin?? opinions??

ye cos gloss would look a bit odd, as other grills are mainly satin arnt they :)
