have you got alot of amps and stuff that could be making it work harder? if so an alternator off a diesel corsa may be the way to go, they produce more amps then standard petrol ones, i had a diesel alternator put in when my engine was swapped, and drove around for 2days then my battery went flat, the alternator hadnt worked from new.... it happens
