1.2 8v turbo

hi what will happen if i turbo my 1.2 8v?? would it blow up or anything like that??
i know ur thinkin why do it to a 1.2 8v but i can get the parts dirt cheap so why not haha

yea you can turbo pretty much any car, but how long it would last i havent got a clue, you would really do with a spacer plate making for the cylinder head gasket to lower the compression ratio for a start,
TURBO LAG IS JUST FOREPLAY ;)

you would bollox it, unless you do the absolute full job no short cuts but fr that price you could buy a small yacht.......

no point at all mate, if you want a turbo go 2.0 8v or 1.6 8v, i know someone doing a 1.6 8v turbo nova the now.

powerbox, full s/s straight through, uprated cams, big k and n, theres loads more you could do to it just need to do research.

ive got a 1.2 turbo in my corsa b cost 4000 170bhp and every time it puts a fat smile on my face haha

for 2000 i know someone that does a z20hse conversion around 300-350 bhp

for 4000 you could buy a corsa gsi 2.0 turbo and still insurance it for that kind of money lol

takes some money but any real enthusiast would if they wanted to
i have a 1.4 turbo (admitadly not a vauxhall) thats pumping 220hp
bit of cash anythings possible
