hi i had a compression test done today on my 1.0 and the results werent good
cylinder 1=55psi
cylinder 2=70psi
cylinder 3=200psi
is there anyway to fix the problem without paying loads lol

yea engine swap... that'l cost the same as a rebuild if not cheaper plus it'l save you loads of time instead of a re-build as you'l need a bore out and new pistons and rings so engine change is your best option, should be able to pick one up for like £100 as they're not that popular. or you could put a 1.2 16v in instead of the 1L 12v i think that should be the same type of fitment as the 1L as they're the same kinda shape engine.

that is what the garage told is to do but a havent a clue what to check on a engine when buying one plus a dunno how to change one so gonna save up nd change car is probs the easiest way lol
