Washer Jets

Post by cpj1987 »

Hi all!

New here, and making my entrance with a very stupid question - sorry!

Have a 1998 Corsa Breeze. Took it to the safari park recently. Had planned for most damage the baboons could do - was expecting lost wipers or damaged wing mirrors. They ended up ripping the washer jets and tubes straight out through the bonnet.

Not being a car expert, I ordered new jets from Halfords - they're too narrow for the holes in the bonnet. Bought a new t-piece and tube, which look fine, but where can I find the washer jets I actually need, please?

Would really appreciate some help, the MOT's coming up soon and I've got to find these, buy them, and then find a way to fit them through the bonnet - feeling very out of my depth! :(

You could try looking on Euro Car Parts, found they have nearly everything for my Corsa. Quite helpful staff too. If not go to a Vauxhall dealer, they may have it and be able to fit it.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I had looked on EuroCarParts - no such luck, there, as far as I can see. I'd also considered going to a garage, but didn't like the idea of paying high prices for the work to be done if there was a way around it. Hadn't even considered my local Vauxhall garage, though - hopefully, they'll be a bit more fair with the cost.
