first project arden blue corsa b
now first things first i only have a 1.0i 12 v 99 v plate arden blue envoy and this is my first project
and at the moment am not intreasted in upgrading the engine that will eventualy happen, i have a few ideas i would like opinions on
to do list
1. alloys 15 ripspeed atom on toyo tyres------ done
2. rear light change ------------------------------done
3. paint all plastic interior trim
4. paint all exterior trim gloss black
5. install ice ill write below system in mind for thoughts
6. drop it 40mm with full lowering kit
7. race feul filler cap
8. de badged boot --------------------------------done
9. exhaust system looking for ideas
10. interior re upholstery (the seats and carpets are truely dyer in this model)
11. spoiler get 1 from scrapyard cheapish
12. front lights change dont know if light upgrade or light change
13. side repeters new
14. either gsi bodykit or different
15. brakes upgrade may install abs
16. remote central locking
17. de lock the boot (any ideas for the bootchatch was thinking bike cable)
18.de window wiper the rear
19.single wiper the front
20. full paint job maybe darker blue
now thats all that my brain can think of the now i will put on pics of my progress as i get round to it and picks of the car the now will be up tomoro
ice
here is the system i am looking for 4 channel amp mounted on the side standing up in the boot, front speakers running of two channels and bridge other two to run the boxed sub (removable for the use of full boot when i take the wife shopping) and the parcel shelf 6x9s with led lights flickering to the music running of the stereo, which at the moment is a jvc £20 from scrappies
now what are the thoughts on this eventually i will get round to upgrading the engine but i want to make it look nice before i mess with engine

10. fort of getting calibra leathers?10. interior re upholstery (the seats and carpets are truely dyer in this model)
15. brakes upgrade may install abs
17. de lock the boot (any ideas for the bootchatch was thinking bike cable)
18.de window wiper the rear
15. get 2l brakes or just get upgraded pads/disks, np adding abs if its not installed already
17/18. if ur smoothing the boot you could if u like reverse the wiper motor, add a lil rod in place and use ur rear wiper function on the right hand stick for ur boot popper possible or just get a popper kit and install it in the centre console
gsi is one/or the best kit for corsa b's tbh and they look amazing in arden blue aswell, look at PRICERS project logs, i got mine going in the bodyshop for work in the next few weeks so that will be done aswell but im getting carbon wrap aswell hopefully on the roof once all paintwork is done.

Re: first project arden blue corsa b
i bought the wing of a fellow corsa-b member, and ebay is best get for GSI kit, and remote locking havent a clue not many people do it as its a pain in the ass to wire into the vauxhall loom, and leave the front speakers to be powered by the radio but upgrade them to better ones, and get a two channel amp with MORE output rms than what your rms input is for your 6x9s in your shelf are as that will mean your amp isnt having to be going full chat to power your speakers, and then get another amp (as you cant use a speaker amp to power a sub due to the different frequencies) but this amp can either be a single channel which you can then use to power your subs either one or two in series or parallel due to how many ohms your speakers will work out to be and how many ohms to the rms your amplifier will produce, but if you have a twin channel amplifer that will produce low frequencies to power a sub then put one sub on the one channel and the other sub on the other channel, but again remember to buy your amplifer with more rms output value than your subwoofer input rms value, then again your amp wont have to be going full chat to power your subs flat out. sound systems are REALLY technical best thing is to surf the internet and understand all the rms and ohm relations to do with series and parrallel subwoofer wire'ing and then work it out yourself to what you require.

Re: first project arden blue corsa b
im not sure on the corsa's but on my old motor which was a 106 i took the wiper motor off swapped it the opposite way round and made a little bar up between the motor and the orginal popper thats on there behind the key lock, if ur not 100% best bet is pop on like ebay and get a popper kit comes with it all.
