Help with body and wheels

Post by patersr03 »

Hi all
Just recieved my new Ultima Wide Arch body kit.

car is going away 25th July for a week to be all fitted and a full body respray from the horrible silver and rust to black.

now i am in process of choosing what alloys to get between two both 15's

now my questions are how low can i got before rubbing 40mm ok?
and i need to level my wheels with the arches?

Thanks.

well if the ET is between 45 and 49 then you can go further than 40 but if there offset is diifferent 40 would be max i would say. And for the wheels just get some spacers so the wheels line up with the edge of the arches

and as for wheels well they are
Size: 15x7.0"
PCD/Offset: 4x100 ET38

So is it still 40mm or less/more
not clued up on this ET stuff, electronics is my angle.

if u got wide arches. chances are ur gnna be chopping part of your arches off or bending them in, as is what i did to mine, depends where the wide arches sit to i guess. mine is lowered 60mil, and plenty of space with 16 inch wheels on.
check out my project log : http://forums.corsa-b.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=17351

if the ET is 38 then id recommend just 40. dont want all the scraping problems tbh. Wheels are nice though :)
