A couple weeks back, I had an accident in my car causing my headlight to smash and the bumper to lower on the left side. This happened when I went into the back of someone else car when going round a roundabout, It happened when he got cut up by another driver in an Audi making a last minute decision (or so he said). We agreed that it was the Audi's fault and then exchanged details and he left.
This is where it gets a little funny, the details he provided proved to be false when trying to gain contact with him and whilst re-thinking the situation I only saw the Audi drive away but there were no brake lights on his car when I went into the back of him and his car was stationary. Later on that week I received a phone call from my insurance saying that he was claiming for wiplash and other injuries but not for the damage to the car. Baring in mind that he was fully mobile and had not mentioned any injuries of such when providing me with his "Fake" details, he had also gone to a doctor on the same day. My insurance said they would handle this and look into it.
A few days ago, I received a letter from a personal injury lawyer about the same exact claim with wiplash and other injuries. But, I had not heard anything from my insurance or the other guys. This is when I kinda thought I was being scammed. Also how is it that the driver got wiplash and that the passengers did not?
Anyway please would anyone be able to help me with this and how protect myself against it as I do not want to pay £7000 next year.

i think your best bet would be to get back in touch with your insurence company, after all this is what you pay your insurence for. ask them whats going on and how they are dealing with it, tell them about the letter and make sure that they are dealing with it.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!
