Hello all thought i would share my winter toy i have a subaru wrx sti v2 wagon thats coming off the road for 12 months for some body tlc and the hunger for more power 321bhp is just enough for about 6 months lol any way i got this a month ago for the price of £250 with 9 months mot and having owned 2 gsi's before i just knew i would love another corsa b for a toy, also i never got stuck in snow once in both gsi's and one was on 16" softstars and dropped 60mm the other was on 15" and dropped 45mm track car.
any way enough of the past here it is 100% standard when i got it not even an aftermarket exhaust lol didnt think any corsa sri's were standard any more lol!
then a mate gave me a 6000mile old spax adjustable shocks and spring kit for nothing was going to scrap so was rude not to fit it lol keeping all standard stuff to refit when i sell it also 2 new tyres and new front brakes fitted ,and it will be on the road 1st of oct
cheers fella the corsa is staying standard exept suspension lol but that was free so it doesnt count
the STi is fun but the bug for more always sets in this was last print out in 2008 been running faultless since that day (exept one burst intercooler hose)
roll on 1st of oct i get to bomb around in the corsa and the money i save in fuel will be spent on bits im aiming for 2.1l fully forged pistons and rods, nitrided sti crank, ACL race bearings cosworth bolts,Scooby clinic SC38 billet turbo , cosworth cams and cosworth inlet (reversed inlet) solaris ecu 3 swichable maps eg 99ron road map safe good power, 99ron track safe more power lol! and poss a 95 ron road low boost 0.6 bar low timing economy map numbers im looking at are 420 ish with very high 300 torque and 320 bhp low ron safe economy map.
its nice to see a standard corsa for a change
