Future plans at the moment are to paint the front wheels, then hum and har about the job market giving me a job to stick a bigger lump in there, something along the lines of a tuned 1.5/1.7tdi

And a friend did a photoshop of how he would finish the car. This I do want.

Thanks both, was good as a means to learn how to use a jigsaw more than anything. I did look at middle, and with the scoop mounted upwards, etc but it seemed to fit there, plus the filters just to the right of it so gets a nice airflow now compared to the jack all it got before.

Got a new rocker gasket today as the olds ones shot, should be an easy job but looking forward to have a go myself.

Marked the area, drilled a hole in each corner (within the box I'd drawn so I didn't end up with rounded edges), almost used the wrong blade, then just followed the line I'd drawn as best I could starting at the holes I'd drilled. Hope it helps, might help to practise on some spare metal first as I wasnt too bothered about finesse.

All I have to say is I need £160/some one to donate me a present so this can happen....
