Corsa B 1999 1.7 diesel
a month ago, starting the car started to play up. Mechanic began by changing one of the heaters. Thought it was fixed but no chance. Next changed the pipes and the fuel filter. Thought it was fixed but no chance. At great expense changed the fuel pump. 8 times out of 10 car starts no problem, with no funny noises (ie no air in the system). Then suddenly while still at the mechanic's it won't start. Apparently if left alone for a while, it will eventually always start.
Brought in opel 'expert' and suggested checking out the keys.
The computer analysis shows everything working fine. the mechanic is thinking of replacing the chip and checking the immobilizer code for what it's worth.
Any ideas? Please help, its already been over a month of useless thoughts.
